Although it is not exactly clear to where golgatha is, there must be some bone fragraments that would be found there or sometype of artifacts that could be excavated,
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to see a team of search the permimter area and excavate these areas to see about any bones or fossel remains that would prove it to be a place where this occurred, that is the best way to find it is to check the complete surrounding area of the city and then excavate the locations for artificats that would prove it to be the exact spot.
It is a hill and outside the city gates, it cannot be far from the city as who would be able to take a cross from the court yard all the way like the man that helped Jesus. It does not mention the accounts about the man having problems getting the cross there, so it must be with in a square mile radious.
Although best look for hills and then excavate them at a controlled fashion and there ehould be some types of artifacts like wooden cross fragments, nails or metal objects ect. that would prove the location.
